Customer Service
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service team member with responsibility for managing project orders through manufacturing cycle and shipping - interfacing with customers, suppliers, staff, salespeople and management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years customer service/order entry experience at an office furniture dealership.
Skills & Experience
- Maintain working knowledge of manufacturers and their procedures and policies, programs and procedures
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Able to work within the operating system (ECI/DDMS) in place at M3 to enter customer orders, invoice customers and process purchase orders to manufacturers
- Excellent communication skills in working with staff, salespeople, manufacturers, outsourcing firms and management
- Responsible for answering incoming phone calls
- Ability to work in stressful situations and maintain calm manner
- Receive, interpret, distribute and respond to correspondence from manufacturers, installer, and other outside sources on a daily basis
- Manage manufacturer warranty issues
- Prepare customer invoices
- Review shipping & receiving reports
- Maintain finish and fabric sample library
- Maintain customer, vendor & G/L databases
- Evidence of discretion in maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain high quality and responsive standards to customer needs and assists sales, design, service people and management with customers as required
- Show a collaborative spirit in work that enhances both internal and external contacts
